Henry W. Coe State Park - This immense state park covers 80,000 acres of rugged, coastal mountain terrain within easy reach of San Francisco. It is the place to go for weekend wilderness backpacking, surf fishing, horseback riding, and camping. |

Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park - Residing between the Big Sur coastline and the nearby 3,000-foot ridges, this park offers a wide array of trees, an 80-foot waterfall, and a bird's eye view of the coastline among its sights. It is a popular park for whale watching and scuba diving. |

Point Mugu State Park - With sandy beaches, two river canyons, five miles of shoreline, and over 70 miles of trails, this 15,000-acre park is a dream. This park is a delight for hikers, swimmers, body surfers, and surf fishers.
