It's an easy hike for all: Summit Mount Pisgah in the Saranac Lake region. The 0.5-mile hike also nets you a great view of the entire region.

Take the little ones out on a ride they'll never forget. Hop a snowmobile and motor across frozen Lake Champlain.

The whole clan will enjoy skiing West Mountain, a family resort in Glens Falls. When the kids tire of skiing, take 'em to the neaby tubing hill for some different downhill action.

Teach the kids how to flyfish. There's no better place to do it: The Ausable River in Keene Valley is legendary among flyfishermen.

Take everyone out for an awesome family paddle on Blue Mountain Lake. It's a leisurely and beautiful way to enjoy the afternoon.
