Snorkel Biscayne National Park
By John Robson

With 95 percent of its 180,000 acres lying under turquoise Caribbean-like water, Biscayne National Park makes for the perfect bubble-blowing getaway. The park, located just south of Miami, hosts a unique ecosystem with roughly 23 miles of mainland mangrove shoreline, 45 small keys, living coral reefs, and sprinklings of sea grass beds.

Paddle to the shoreline flats for the best in Biscayne snorkeling. These quiet waters are host to everything from tiny sea urchins and stone crabs to manatee, sea turtles, and sharks below, and a full range of marine birds wading the flats.
