The White Mountains



Extending from New Hampshire's popular Lakes Region to the Great North Woods bordering Canada, the White Mountains region offers the best of New England. To the west, the winding Connecticut River snakes down from Quebec to Massachusetts, offering fishing, paddling, and a dividing line between New Hampshire and neighboring Vermont. To the east are the wilds of Maine. In between, all manner of activities abound, from skiing to swimming, scenic driving to snowshoeing, making the Whites a perfect place to be any time of year.
