Careful avoidance of meaningful employment is the key to John Robson's 24/7 pursuit of fun and adventure. Living on Miami Beach with his wife and seven-year-old daughter, he dabbles in the music industry and contributes to Florida Sports Magazine, the Miami Herald, Fitness Runner and sundry other publications and dot-coms.

Variously entertaining himself with skateboarding, bike racing, sprint adventure races, and off-road triathlons, his favorite indulgence is surfing, which requires several journeys per annum to the usual destinations: Costa Rica, Mexico, California, and France. In answer to the most aggravating surfing FAQ, no, he has never been to Hawaii. However, that situation that may be rectified in 2001.
