You can reach the Fundy coast by flying to Saint John or Moncton and renting a car, or driving from Maine or Nova Scotia, or taking a ferry from Digby, Nova Scotia.
Lodging Inn on the Cove, Saint John (506-672-7799; $45-$85) is known for gourmet cuisine. Florentine Manor, Albert (506-882-2271; $41-$67) is a 19th-century shipbuilder's home convenient to Hopewell Rocks. The Algonquin, St. Andrews (506-529-8823; $123-$190) is a gracious old resort hotel. Quaco Inn, St. Martins (506-833-4772; $60-$85) features Victorian furnishings. Marathon Inn, Grand Manan (506-662-8144; $84) is convenient to the ferry.
Excursions/Tours Seal Watch Tours is the official operator to Machias Seal Island (506-662-8552). Coast Boat Tours conducts whale watching, birdwatching, and coastal sight seeing trips (506-662-8181). Fundy Hiking Holidays conducts walking and birdwatching tours.
