To lose some of the crowds, head to Pope Valley, probably the least traveled and most scenic region in Napa; here you'll find numerous loops, both challenging and relaxed. For those who like to test their legs, Howell Mountain offers a formidable climb and some incredible scenery. And of course, along the way, you'll have the chance to drop by vineyards and sample some of the world's best wines. Just be sure to call ahead—some of the vineyards are by appointment only.
