Nordic Valley is not typically considered a major threat to its neighboring ski resorts, but perhaps is should be. It has an amazing variety of terrain in a mere 100 skiable acres and the entire resort is open for night-time skiing and snowboarding. It is located 50 miles north of Salt Lake City and is another good choice for budget-minded families with small children.

Location: 50 miles from Salt Lake International Airport.

Season: November to March

Elevation and Vertical Drop: Base Elevation 5,300, Top Elevation 6,400,Vertical Drop 1,100'

Lifts: 2 Double Chairs

Snowboading: Yes

Average Annual Snowfall: 350"

Runs and Terrain: 16 Runs. 100 Skiable Acres, Beginner terrain 30%, Intermediate terrain 40%, Expert terrain 30%.
