Utah Ski Roundup
Beaver Mountain
By Ashley Patterson

Beaver Mountain is a small family-owned resort located 27 miles from Logan (about 110 miles north of Salt Lake City) in the Wasatch-Cache national forest. It is not typically considered a destination resort, as its skiable terrain represents just a small fraction of that of its nearby competitors. Beaver Mountain has three lifts servicing 525 acres and offers a good mix of beginner and intermediate terrain. This, combined with its affordable ticket prices, make it an excellent choice for families, particularly those on a budget.
