Wooden Canoe Heritage Association, Ltd - association devoted to preserving, studying, building, restoring and using wood canvas, cedar strip and birch bark canoes, and to disseminating information about canoeing heritage in North America.
The American Whitewater Affiliation - The AWA is a national boating organization with a membership of approximately 30,000 individual and local kayak and canoe club affiliates. The association's home page includes tons of useful information of interest to whitewater enthusiasts.
Arizona
Arizona Mountaineering Club - A non-profit organization established for the purpose of getting together people with similar interests in technical Rock Climbing, Mountaineering, Whitewater rafting, backpacking, hiking and mountain biking.
Central Arizona Paddler's Club - promotes various water sports including canoeing, sea kayaking, lazy river and lake paddling, white water kayaking, and rafting. Club meets in the Phoenix metro area.

Carolina Canoe Club (North Carolina) - is primarily whitewater oriented, but occasional flatwater trips are offered. Membership benefits include a bimonthly newsletter, instructional clinics, and a full list of trips. The club is also active in conservation and safety issues.

Lower Columbia Canoe Club - Portland, Oregon offers excellent educational opportunities: flatwater and whitewater clinics taught by ACA-certified instructors, solo clinics, and rescue and safety clinics staffed by swift water rescue technicians. Penn State Outing Club - A student-run organization at Penn State University that offers courses, trips, team building, rentals and open programs on getting started in outdoor activities, such as gear advice, meal planning and campsite selection.

Tennessee Scenic Rivers Association - conservation and paddling organization dedicated to the preservation of free-flowing streams and safe recreational paddling. TSRA organizes several paddling schools every year and nearly every week-end some type of river related activity is planned.
Tennessee Valley Canoe Club - Southeast Tennessee based club for people interested in whitewater canoeing and kayaking, and river conservation. Site includes information on the Ocoee River Schedule, as well as club events.

Chota Canoe Club is a Knoxville-based whitewater club for canoers and kayakers emphasizing the conservation and enjoyment of whitewater streams in East Tennessee and the safety and training of its members.
Tennessee Eastman Hiking and Canoeing Club - Organization manages and maintains 126 miles of the Appalachian in North Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia. Site includes archive of newsletters and listing of upcoming hikes, backpacking trips, and paddling trips, which are open to the general public.
Texas
Guadalupe River Cleanup - The 6th annual Guadalupe River Clean-Up is looking for volunteers to help in all areas of clean-up. Canoeing clubs, diving clubs, kayaking clubs, and just plain old lovers of the Guadalupe River are welcome. The cleanup will be held Saturday, September 14, 1996, in New Braunfels, Texas.

Intercollegiate
Outing Club Association - coordinates trips with multiple clubs. This allows smaller clubs to use gear, and learn techniques from the larger or more active clubs. Activities frequently done by IOCAns include: Caving (both horizontal and vertical), Rock and Ice Climbing, Canoeing, kayaking, white-water rafting, X-C Skiing, Tele-Skiing, downhill skiing, winter mountaineering/hiking (snowshoeing, etc.), camping, biking, and pretty much anything else that is done in the outdoors.

Washington Boating Safety - Washington currently has a recreational boating fatality rate nearly twice the national average. This site seeks to reverse this trend.
