Rivers are holy in Nepal, goddesses providing an endless supply of beauty and abundance — not to mention adventure for whitewater thrill seekers. Rafting in Nepal is unsurprisingly superb, given the world's most extreme variations in altitude, rugged topography and copious snowmelt from the heavenly Himalayas.
