Easy to carry: a tool kit as part of a hydration system

The main thing to remember is that simply reading another rider's tool list isn't a guarantee that all will be well. Chances are that you will either be packing more than conditions really require (if you are out on a training ride or just for the day, but are hauling the kit that tourers carry), or if you're a tourer that you won't be packing enough. Keep this in mind when putting together your personal kit from the list below. And remember that the tools, tube, spokes, and gear and brake cables that fit your riding partner's bike might not fit yours.
