Timberland’s Earthkeeper’s products are made with a commitment to the environment. The outsoles are made from 42 percent recycled rubber and the fleece lining made from 30 percent recycled plastic bottles. Even the premium full-grain waterproof leather is tanned at a facility accredited by an independent environmental audit. In addition to getting a product that stands for renewable resources, low-impact manufacturing, and recycling, the boots have a style that never goes out of fashion, with a shaft height of 14.5 inches—perfect for skinny jeans, skirts, or anything in between. The 15.5-inch calf circumference is wide enough to not pinch (one tester routinely carries her cell phone in her boot when she leaves her purse at home).
