You noted in your review: "The zips do feel a bit flimsy compared to more hardcore product like your day pack, but they’ve held their own over months of arduous testing. If that changes, we’ll let you know." You are correct: these are #5 coil zips, a day pack is a #8 or #10-essential for the torque a pack experiences but in our humble opinion overkill (and weight) for travel storage items.
