BiographyHeather Hansen is based in Boulder, Colorado, but has backpacked, kayaked, and bushwhacked her way around the globe. Her favorite recent adventures include standing atop Mount Kilimanjaro and buzzing over Victoria Falls in a microlight plane. She has contributed to Mother Jones, Outside, Men's Journal, and the Mountain Gazette, among others.
