Colorado's Hot Springs Heavens
Stay at this camp and you'll see why Ouray is often described as the"Little Switzerland" of the United States. Craggy, snowcapped peaks loom above the town, with oh-so-green hillsides, thick evergreen forest, and sprawling fields of wildflowers strewn at their feet. The camp is just off the main drag in Ouray, tucked under tall spruce trees with intimate sites and magnificent views. The Uncompahgre River runs along the camp boundary, with good fishing access nearby, and the steaming mineral pools at Ouray Hot Springs (not to be missed) are within walking distance. Oh, in case you were wondering, the campground's name refers to the owners' family, which started out with four members, then grew by two.
