A few years ago my brother & I traversed the S.E. Oregon area and

drove around the Diamond Craters auto tour trail. In the vicinity, but not part of the self-guided tour, was a vast area of a fairly recent basalt flow -- so recent that there was no vegetation at all. Do you know just where that flow is located, and what it is called? Thanks.

A tree that moves locations very slowly.. true?

I was in Kakum National Forest last summer and there is a special tree with its trunk lifted up and its roots extending to the ground. I think I remember hearing that this particular tree moves about throughout the forest (Very very slowly of course)... is this true? What is the name of the tree?

what forest in California has the biggest trees
