need dirt trails for running as close as possible to 37138

There are some really nice trails in Long Hunter State Park, which will take you through hardwood forest and along the shoreline of J. Percy Priest Lake. The best trails here, I think, are accessible from the Bakers Grove Primitive Use Area, which is a little under 20 miles south of Old Hickory near Hermitage. Another good area, though a bit further away, is Mossy Ridge Trail in Percy Warner Park. Enjoy!
