is there drinking water and overnight shelters in Shanandoah Valley AT

Shenandoah has very well-marked water sources throughout the park, and especially along the AT (arguably one of the best-maintained section of the entire trail). There are overnight shelters scattered across the trail itself. Think basic shelters with three walls and platforms for sleeping, but they also typically have fire pits, grills, and the rest. And most also have spring--you'll still need to treat the water, of course.The best resource are the maps from ATC. Very detailed, with info on shelters and water along the entire AT
